Reminder

Note: Please do not copy anything from the Benchmark site to turn in to class. If your child is asked to make annotations on the text, have them use the digital tools to write direct on the material. A main point of the exercises is being able to communicate effectively on a digital platform. Have your child experiment with the various tools to find what best works for them.

Work done on the Benchmark site does count on the progress report.

Also, please have speeches ready for Monday as well as appropriate attire for recording.

Students should be fluent with the following information:

  • Where was Roberto Clemente born?
  • What is he known for?
  • What type of person was Roberto Clemente?
  • What did he want to do (accomplish) for Puerto Rico?
  • How did Roberto Clemente die?
  • How was he honored?

  1. For the speech on Monday, are the kids allowed to use index cards or on paper to read or they need to memorize it?
