Fifty-Fifth Day of School

Today we had our first lesson in digitizing our writing. Our process:

1. Open mymail account.
2. Open a blank document in Google Docs.
3. Increase the font size.
4. Use the shift key to capitalize.
5. When you come to the end of a page press the enter key 2x..

Additionally, right click on words which are underlined in red in order to find the correct spelling.

In Science, we used our liquid properties vocabulary to classify liquids and tell about them orally.

In Math we had our first timed math test. Six students achieved a perfect score.

Note: Please do not copy anything from the Benchmark site to turn in to class. If your child is asked to make annotations on the text, have them use the digital tools to write direct on the material. A main point of the exercises is being able to communicate effectively on a digital platform. Have your child experiment with the various tools to find what best works for them.
